Shola Lawrence: Author/ Creator/ Screenplay Writer
Based in London, UK, Shola Lawrence holds a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and a Master's degree in Social Policy and administration from Goldsmiths, University of London.
She first put pen to paper (figuratively) in 2013, but her interest in storytelling was born in earnest almost 4 years prior. In 2009, she gave up her day job to start her own business, supplying 3D viewing equipment for commercial and private use.
From cinema houses to kid’s comic book pages, almost any experience could be enhanced with 3D. But she grew restless with just enhancing other's creative endeavours. She wanted to throw her own original ideas and opinions into the ring. And so, in 2013, she began to do just that.
It was nothing major, just 20 odd pages of a short story with cute illustrations. Now, eight years later, amid a worldwide pandemic, her little labour of love has grown from a few pages with doodles to a full-fledged novel, with a screenplay adaptation ready and a script for the silver screen in the works!
Shola is currently working as executive producer with a team of great individuals on an indie film set in Reno, Nevada.

MJ is an award-winning screenwriter, director, producer and the founder of River Rose Productions. She is co-founder of Mad Wife Productions.
MJ discovered her passion for screenwriting and filmmaking after receiving a PhD from the University of Reno.
MJ is best known for her Baby Money feature film, Mommy's Pickles short film (available on Amazon Prime), and No Virtue TV series, Capture Narcos and Black Eyes.
Andrew owns a commercial videography firm, Reno Tahoe Graphics. Along with his business partner, MJ Palo, he began Mad Wife Productions in 2020, with the aim of developing the highest quality cinema based in Reno, Nevada, his hometown.
At 18, Andrew began his career working for the Walt Disney corporation. He has worked for Disney in Florida and California, finding his love for cinematography.
For more than 15 years, Gregory has been a member of the local Reno film scene.
He started his career as an actor and has had the opportunity over the years to learn many of the other roles on a movie set, settling comfortably as an assistant director.
He also works with the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival as a Traveling Teacher.
Ciara is a lady of the get er 'done kind. She has been involved in marketing and has a passion for making films. Ciara enjoys working for long days (which is great for making movies).
Steve has been working with audio for 15 years in film and video.
The brightness and beautiful personality of Steve always keeps the set feeling warm and fuzzy.
Steve is the go-to for all recording sound needs.
As a stage manager and assisting productions at the Brüka Theatre, Julia is most comfortable giving call times. Julia brings her understanding of the business sector and love for art together after completing her degree in Management and Technical Theatre in May 2020.
Justine is the owner of Tru Talent Agency.
The best performing actors and actresses in the region are brought to the table by Justine.
In Northern Nevada, she is a trusted name that offers acting, modelling, and other classes while also being an amazing casting agent.
Since she was 16, Kellie has been working in the film industry.
She's got a great eye and does full-time photography.
Kellie is the most talented AC, and her talents and sharp wits never fail to amaze anyone.
Among the many businesses she owns, Lynzie specialises in making ultra-realistic gore and wounds for EMTs in training. That way they can practise what it's going to be like to deal with actual injuries.
These abilities work beautifully for our industry, of course! Yeah, and she's great at makeup as well!
Chris is an incredibly talented Commercial Videographer at TangleWood Productions.

Cassandra Moore is a native of Reno Nevada who enjoys all things Entertainment with an Associate in Arts Degree in Theatre. Cassandra can be found both on and off stage at the theatre. She has appeared in several TMCC musicals and Children's Theatre productions as well as appearing outside the Lear Theatre in downtown Reno in several Summer Shakespeare plays. Cassandra has stage managed and worked on set construction for more shows than she can count.
Melissa specialises mainly in the acquisition and distribution of content and is also the Reno-Tahoe Screenplay Contest's administrative assistant.
Nick is training under our Director of Sound to one day be almost as great. His enthusiasm and hard-working attitude fits in perfectly with the rest of the team!
